Lyra Aquacolor Water-Soluble Wax Crayons 48 Set
Water-soluble crayons: Lyra vs Neocolor II
Let’s take a look at the Lyra Aquacolor 48 set water-soluble wax crayons and compare them a little with the Caran D’Ache Neocolor II (2). We will look at how they apply and rewet, as well as do a little speedpaint of a butterfly to compare how it is to work with both crayons.
SPOILER: I love them both! They are really quite similar and a fun medium to use alongside watercolors or other mediums.

Just a note on the pricing for the Lyra, it fluctuates all the time on Amazon, I put them on my wishlist when they were under $50 and they have gone up and down ever since, so you may want to put a ‘price watch’ on them to get them a good price 🙂 - Caran D’ache Neocolor II (open stock Jackson’s)
